Finally! We've waited a long time for a new film directed by Peter Jackson!  It has been five years since the premiere of King Kong in 2005! Jackson's latest film The Lovely Bones will have its World Premiere in New Zealand at Wellington's Embassy Theatre on December 14, 2009. 

Jackson will attend the New Zealand premiere as will Saoirse Ronan and Susan Sarandon, two of the film's stars. The film, adapted from Alice Sebold's best-selling novel, will have its US debut December 26, 2009; it also stars Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci and Rachel Weisz
