Producer Peter Jackson held a special screening of TriStar's District 9 at the first day of Comic Con in San Diego. Neill Blomkamp makes his directorial debut with the $30 million dollar Sci-Fi thriller and word is the movie is wildly original. Following the screening of District 9, Peter Jackson answered questions for a small group of journalists about his upcoming projects including The Hobbit (Sorry, no casting announcements yet!), Tintin and The Lovely Bones. In addition to Jackson, word is Johnny Depp, Tim Burton, James Cameron, and The Twilight-New Moon stars; Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner all made appearances at Comic Con 2009…and that was only the first day! I wish I was there!
